Rima Fakih (Arabic: ريما فقيه) born last October 2, 1986 is an American beauty pageant titleholder and winner of Miss USA 2010. Fakih won the Miss Michigan USA pageant last September 19, 2009, and the Miss USA pageant dated May 16, 2010. Fakih, a citizen of Lebanon and a Muslim, is reputed to be the first person of her nationality, ethnicity or religion to win the Miss USA title. She is also the first Miss Michigan to win the countrywide title since Kenya Moore in 1993. Fakih was born in Srifa, Lebanon, to a well-known Shi'a Muslim family. She moved to New York with her family in 1993, where she later be present at St. John's Preparatory School, a Catholic high school. Her family moved to Dearborn, Michigan, in 2003. Fakih's family is Muslim, but they celebrate fundamentals of both the Muslim and Christian faiths. Fakih currently dwell in Dearborn. She is a graduate of the University of Michigan–Dearborn, with degrees in economics and business management, and plans to attend law school after her year-long supremacy. Fakih is widely said to be the first Lebanese American, the first Arab American, the first Muslim, and the first immigrant to win the Miss USA title; however, pageant officials stated their proceedings are not detailed sufficient to confirm these claims.

She was Deborah Lyra, born in Vitória, but used up two years living in the mining town of Divinópolis. Lyra was a model since age of 8, and wished to be Miss Brazil since age of 12. With the encouragement and full support of her father, she soon commences to participate in and triumph some beauty contests.
